Children's Department

Bursting with a vibrant interior and colorful decor, the Children's Department offers a cheerful and relaxed atmosphere for young readers. The shelves contain a variety of books: picture books, easy readers, chapter books, biographies, and an extensive non-fiction section. The department also boasts a brilliant audio-visual collection, including children's DVDs and books on compact disc.

Programs

The Children's Department organizes multiple programs for children ages 2 - 12, including regularly scheduled programs and special programs throughout the year. During the summer months, the department goes "all-out" for the Summer Reading Program. Check the Event Calendar to see what programs are currently being offered.

Contact the Marietta Library's Children's Department at 740-373-1057 ext 219 if you have any questions about their programs.
